In today's post, just like last week, I will just be listing out some of the placements or work experience being advertised that I've spotted to aid the internship hunting! For second years, finalists or anyone else looking for journalism internships, there is never an exact time to be doing this, and now is as good a time as any!
Telegraph Stella Features Apprenticeship Sept 2015

Duties and responsibilities:
- Researching, cuts and transcriptions for features
- Assisting the features team with key administration tasks

Creative Services Internship at Viacom International Media Networks
Location: London

Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing a chance to start a career in Advertising and Production
- Working with a creative team, directly with the Senior Producer, Production Manager, and Creative Director, freelancers and external production companies
- Assisting with the daily workflow of the department producing short-form promotional and sponsorship material such as sponsor billboards, promos and commercial for international clients of Viacom channels including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central
Paid Internship at FITV (Falkland Islands)
Location: Falkland Islands 300 miles off the coast of South America

Duties and responsibilities:
- Gaining experience in news and features reporting, editing, directing, presenting, producing, and script writing
- Working at a small community station which runs a twice weekly news magazine programme Falklands in Focus, the sole television of the Islands which also broadcasts a 60 second news update online

Paid BBC R1 and 1Xtra Internships

Duties and responsibilities:
- Eight weeks placement working with teams across both stations spending blocks of time in different departments
- Take part in meetings and brainstorms across R1 and 1X, researching topics and complete a range of duties for production teams prior and during live shows
- Set a research brief to prepare and develop across the eight weeks to then present the findings and ideas to senior management at the end of the placement
